This chant was recorded in 2001 on the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel’s chant CD “A Dream Whose Time Is Coming” Normally we don’t split the parts in the song by women’s and men’s voices but we did in this recording to add interest.
We have used this chant in wildly different rituals ranging from very ceremonial to as an opener for an alchemical fire circle.
“Great Mystery” was inspired by Hermes and a certain Emerald Tablet.
